I have been going crazy over pixel art. I used to think it was the "poor man's" art, for those not so talented with a brush...but after seeing some beautiful pieces and trying it for myself, I figured I was very very wrong.

Well, those pesky pixels that I hated, I now love. I made like three sprites just today and they look fabulous. The tight spacing really got me to play with the proportions. 

I love my OCs and I love pixels, and I love them put together.

So Ovipets had a contest for the new species they are going t add to the game in September. Well hopefully it will be in September...or else I might just die waiting. I submitted the Salacius species and the submission is in my gallery. I really do hope they pick mine because I fell in love with the little buggers. I think I might be drawing more and more of them in the upcoming days....

UPDATE: I did not win, but I was in the top 20! The winner and I did the same basic thing, but honestly, their art was much cuter than mine. So Congrats to the winner!

I have returned with some new art and hope to keep updating this baby much more frequently

ahh...this fanfic and the rest of the characters are gonna take a bit of time. i hope i can upload them very soon so that my two done ones dont feel so lonely.
